Lucie is the founding President of Umalia, a consultancy firm specializing in sustainability and societal engagement. launched 10 years ago, Lucie brings 20 years of experience as a Senior Executive with major Canadian and global private sector organizations in the fields of CSR, collaborative governance, strategic planning, change management and human resources management.

Over the past 10 years, she has developed unique and pragmatic tools and methodologies to anchor societal commitment in corporate strategies. She possesses in-depth expertise in the art of combining the strategic and societal objectives of organizations, as well as a great ability to mobilize and elicit the commitment and collaboration of various actors and stakeholders toward sustainable societal and organizational impact. She has collaborated on numerous projects in North, Central and South America, as well as in Africa, notably in the fields of climate change adaptation, wastewater treatment, collaborative governance and entrepreneurial development.

Through the years, she has served on numerous boards of organizations in various sectors in Canada and abroad. She currently sits on the boards of Québec Net Positif and Évol. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Education for Sustainability (ED4S), the Conference Board of Canada - Leadership Faculty Member of the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Institute, and Papillon MDC Inc.

Lucie was named one of Quebec's “100 Women Entrepreneurs Changing the World”, and in 2020 received the Sustainable Development Goals “Accelerators Awards” from the Canadian section of the United Nations Global Compact on behalf of Umalia. In 2023, Umalia renewed its B Corp certification and achieved a rating that places it among Canada's top companies in terms of social and environmental standards.
